The AC Infinity UIS Control Plug is the adapter that brings ordinary mains-powered equipment under a UIS controller. It sits between the wall and the device and switches that device's power on and off to your controller's programs — temperature and humidity triggers, VPD, timers, cycles and schedules, all in the same app as the rest of your gear. The unit we stock is fitted with an Australian socket and an Australian plug, so no adapters are involved anywhere in the chain.
Your controller reaches past AC Infinity gear
The UIS platform is excellent at controlling AC Infinity equipment, and most rooms have things in them that are not AC Infinity: a portable air conditioner, a dehumidifier that came with the house, a water pump, an oil heater, a CO₂ solenoid. The control plug puts all of them on the same programs. Set a temperature trigger and the controller switches the air conditioner; set a soil moisture trigger and it runs the pump.
Because the switching happens at the controller, everything stays coordinated. The extraction fan is not fighting the heater, and you are not running two systems that each know half of what is going on in the room.
The CO₂ setup this makes possible
This is the arrangement we run ourselves and the one most people have never been shown. Put the CO₂ + Light Sensor in a sensor port on a Controller AI+, put this control plug on a device port, and plug a CO₂ regulator and solenoid into it. The controller reads ppm and switches the solenoid to hold target — a WiFi CO₂ controller assembled from parts, at a fraction of what a dedicated one costs, and integrated with the extraction fan so you are not venting the gas you just released.

FAQ
Will my air conditioner work with it?
It depends on one thing: does it start running again by itself after a power cut, with its last settings? Many do, and those work perfectly. Units that come back in standby waiting for a button press or a remote signal do not. The manual usually calls this auto-restart or power-failure memory — tell us the model and we will check it for you.
Does it come with an Australian plug?
Yes — the unit we stock has an Australian socket and an Australian plug fitted. Nothing here needs an adapter, unlike the US-market version you will see on AC Infinity's own site.
Can it dim a light or slow a fan?
No — it is an on/off switch. For variable control of a third-party light you want a Type-A, Type-B or Type-D lighting adapter, which connects to the driver's dimming port.
How do I set it up on the controller?
Plug it into a controller port with the included UIS cord, then set the device's OFF level to 0 and its ON level to 1. After that it behaves like any other device for programming purposes — triggers, timers, cycles and schedules all apply.
Can I run several from one controller port?
Yes, via a 4-port splitter hub — with the usual condition that everything on the hub follows that port's single program. Devices that need their own rules need their own port.
Is it safe to switch a heater or air conditioner with it?
Within the plug's rating, which is printed on the unit itself — check it against the appliance's own draw before you connect anything substantial. High-draw appliances such as large heaters and portable air conditioners are exactly the sort of thing to verify rather than assume. If you are unsure, send us the appliance's rating plate and we will tell you.
