Mushroom Grow Kits
Mushroom grow kits are fully colonised, ready-to-fruit blocks grown by Australian mushroom farms. Cut the bag, give it humidity and fresh air, and it fruits within days. No substrate mixing, no sterilising. Every kit here is one we've run ourselves in the Lykyn Smart Mushroom Grow Box.
In a Lykyn Grow Box
Take the block out of its box, cut an X, set it in the Lykyn and pick the species in the app. The box runs humidity, airflow and light. No misting.
In the kit's own box
Open the window, cut an X and mist the bag 2–3 times a day. Cheapest way to start, but the result depends on your room and your routine.
Live cultures. Store kits in the fridge until you start them. Biosecurity rules mean we can't ship mushroom kits to WA, TAS or NT, and orders with a kit to those states will be cancelled. Kits are dispatched Monday to Thursday by courier only (no Australia Post or PO Boxes); we recommend Express. The Lykyn Grow Box itself ships Australia-wide.
