Same lining, same shell, completely different shape. The AC Infinity Smell Proof Belt Bag is a wide flat sling: 38.3 cm across, 16.5 cm high and only 3.0 cm deep. Worn on the body, it sits flat, doesn't print under a jacket and leaves your hands free — but at 3 cm it takes pouches and flat items, not jars.
The AC Infinity Smell Proof Handbag is the boxy one: 24.0 cm wide, 15.0 cm high and 9.0 cm deep, with reinforced handles. Jars and tins stand upright in it, it keeps its shape on a shelf, and it carries considerably more. Both have mesh pockets inside the sealed compartment plus a zippered outer pocket, and both seal against light rain.
What the carbon lining actually does
The lining is activated carbon fabric built into a multi-layer interior, and it works the same way the carbon filter on your exhaust fan works — odour molecules adsorb onto the carbon instead of passing through. In a bag that means the scent stays at the fabric rather than filling the room, which is what people are actually asking for when they carry dried material around.
Being straight about it: a carbon-lined fabric bag is not an airtight vacuum seal, and it is not meant to be. It handles carry and short-term storage well. For sealing material away for weeks or months, the right tool is a barrier bag or a sealed jar, and the bag becomes the thing you carry that jar in.

Locking it
The AC Infinity Combination Lock is a 3-digit padlock with a pliable steel cable loop rather than a rigid shackle, which is what lets it through a pair of bag zip pulls, a tent zip, a shed hasp or a locker. Zinc alloy body, high-contrast dials, and a push-button reset so you set your own three digits instead of living with a factory code. Sold in twos, which is usually the right number — one on the bag, one on whatever the bag lives in.
Questions we get asked
How much fits in one?
AC Infinity publish external dimensions but no internal volume, so we are not going to put a gram figure on it. Going by the measurements: the belt bag is only 3 cm deep, so it is a flat-items bag, and the handbag at 9 cm deep and 15 cm high takes standard jars standing upright. If you have a specific container in mind, send us the dimensions and we will tell you whether it fits.
Does the carbon lining wear out?
Activated carbon loads up over time, the same as the carbon in a duct filter. Keeping the bag open and airing in a dry spot between uses helps, and storing material in a sealed barrier bag inside the carry bag means the lining is doing far less work in the first place — which is the single biggest thing you can do to extend it.
Can the bags be washed?
Wipe the 900D nylon shell down with a damp cloth and let it dry fully. Don't submerge or machine wash them — soaking the carbon lining is what ruins it.
Do I need the Integra Boost packs as well?
Only if you are storing rather than just carrying. A humidity pack in a sealed jar or barrier bag holds the material at a steady 62% RH so it neither dries out nor goes damp. For a bag that gets loaded in the morning and emptied at night, it is not doing anything for you.
Will the lock fit my grow tent?
Yes — the flexible steel cable goes through the zip pulls on AC Infinity Cloudlab tents and every other tent we stock. It is the cable rather than a solid shackle that makes that work.
