Roots do their best work in a pot that breathes. This collection is AC Infinity's root-zone range: heavy-duty fabric pots from 3 to 10 gallons, self-watering bases that feed those pots from below, an auto-fill valve kit that tops the bases up from one reservoir, buffered coco coir to fill them, and mesh net cups for hydroponic systems. Every piece is sized to work with the others. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer: stocked in Sydney, shipped domestically.

Fabric pots that air-prune roots

In a plastic pot, roots hit the wall and circle, and the plant ends up with a tangled, root-bound mass. In fabric, root tips that reach the wall meet air and stop, so the plant sends out new branching roots instead. The result is a dense, fibrous root system that fills the whole pot, drinks and feeds more evenly, and is far harder to overwater, because the fabric drains and breathes on every side.

AC Infinity's pots use a thick 500G nonwoven fabric with reinforced double stitching and nylon handles, so a full, wet pot can be lifted and moved without tearing. Steel rings around the rim take twist ties for low-stress training. They are sized to true capacity: fill to the stitch line and you get the full volume on the label.

3 gallon (5-pack) 12.9 L 25.4 × 25.4 cm Standard
5 gallon (5-pack) 20.4 L 30.4 × 27.9 cm Standard

Self-watering bases and the auto-fill valve

A self-watering base sits under the pot and feeds water up into the root zone through wick lines, so the medium stays evenly moist between waterings instead of swinging from soaked to dry. The reservoir plate lifts the pot clear of standing water, a gauge shows the level at a glance, and the spout makes refilling quick. Each base is rated to carry 45 kg. The standard base (3.78 L reservoir) suits pots up to 5 gallons; the XL base (8.5 L reservoir) suits 7 and 10 gallon pots.

Add the Auto-Fill Upgrade Valve Kit and the bases refill themselves. A float valve in each base connects by 3/8″ OD tubing to one larger reservoir, and gravity does the rest: no pump, no power, nothing to fail in a blackout. Link multiple bases to the same tank and a whole tent waters itself.

Our most popular upgrade. The self-watering bases and auto-fill valve are the best sellers in this range for a reason: they turn daily hand-watering into topping up one reservoir. If you are going away, running several plants, or simply want steadier moisture, start here.

Coco coir to fill them

AC Infinity's coco coir potting mix is 100% organic coir, triple-washed and buffered with calcium for stable pH and low EC (under 0.5 mS/cm). Each 0.91 kg brick expands in water to 11.36 L, enough to fill a 3-gallon pot, and stores compactly until you need it. The Instant Potting Mix Kit bundles four bricks with two 5-gallon fabric pots and two multipurpose trays, so you can start straight away.

Net cups for hydroponic systems

For DWC, NFT and raft systems, the mesh net cups come in 2, 3 and 4 inch sizes, with slotted sides that let roots grow straight through into the reservoir and a wide lip that sits securely in lids and channels. Rooting cuttings? Matching clone collars and the rest of the propagation gear are in our AC Infinity Propagation range.

FAQ

Which pot size should I choose?

Match the pot to the space and how long the plant will stay in it. The 3 gallon suits smaller plants and short cycles; the 5 gallon is the most popular all-rounder for tents; 7 and 10 gallon pots give large plants in larger spaces more root room and a bigger buffer between waterings. Tent size limits how many pots fit, so check the pot diameters against your floor space.

Which self-watering base fits my pot?

The standard base fits fabric pots up to 5 gallons. The XL base fits 7 and 10 gallon pots. Both are sold in 4-packs and each base is rated to 45 kg.

Do I need the auto-fill valve?

No. The bases work on their own and you refill each one through its spout. The valve kit is the upgrade that lets every base draw from one shared reservoir by gravity, so you top up a single tank instead of each base.

Can I use the bases with other brands of fabric pot?

Yes, as long as the pot is round fabric and within the size limit for the base. The wicks need a fabric pot, which lets water soak up into the medium; a solid plastic pot will not draw water the same way.

Are the fabric pots reusable?

Yes. They are built for repeat use. Knock out the old root ball, rinse or wash the pot, let it dry fully, and it is ready for the next cycle. Empty pots fold flat for storage.

How do I prepare the coco coir brick?

Place the brick in a tray or bucket, add water and let it expand for up to 30 minutes, then break it up by hand. One 0.91 kg brick makes 11.36 L of ready-to-use medium.
