The AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro is a four-port climate controller that gives each connected device its own program. It reads temperature, humidity and VPD from a 3.66 m probe and drives fans and lights on dynamic levels rather than simple on/off, with timers, cycles and schedules on top. It is the sensible entry point into UIS control and, for a single tent, usually all the controller anyone needs.
Four programs, not four switches
Each port gets its own rules. The extraction fan can hold a humidity target while the clip fan runs a minimum baseline and steps up on temperature, and the light follows a schedule with a ramped transition at each end. Levels are dynamic: instead of jumping to full speed the moment a trigger fires, the fan moves through ten levels in response to how far the reading has drifted, which is quieter and easier on the plants.
Set a minimum level and the device never fully stops — useful for extraction, where you want constant air exchange with more of it when things heat up. Timer, cycle and schedule modes cover everything that runs on the clock rather than the climate.
What the probe actually measures
The thermal-alloy probe head reads ambient temperature and relative humidity, and the controller calculates VPD from those plus a leaf-temperature offset you set. VPD is the more useful number to automate against, because it accounts for the gap between air and leaf rather than treating 26 °C at 60% as the same thing in every room. Trigger on VPD and the controller does the arithmetic for you.

Is four ports enough for one tent?
Usually, yes — because what matters is how many things need different programs. A typical tent runs an extraction fan, one or two clip fans and a humidifier. The clip fans want the same program as each other, so a splitter hub puts both on one port and you still have ports spare. You outgrow four when devices need to behave differently from one another, or when a second space needs its own schedule.
69 Pro or 69 Pro+?
Only the number of independently programmed ports differs — four against eight. The programming depth, the app, the probe and the dynamic levels are identical, and both take splitter hubs. Buy the Pro+ if more than four things genuinely need their own settings.
Can I run it without a fan connected?
No. It takes its power through a connected AC Infinity device, so there must be at least one fan or humidifier plugged in for the controller to run. There is no battery and no separate mains adapter for this model.
Can it control a light that isn't AC Infinity?
If the driver has a dimmer port, yes — a Type-A, Type-B or Type-D lighting adapter gives you full ramping and scheduling. If the light has no control port at all, a UIS Control Plug will still switch it on and off on schedule. Send us the light model and driver details and we will confirm before you order.
Does it need WiFi to work?
No. Programs run on the controller itself and keep running through an outage. WiFi adds remote access, push alerts, historical charts and CSV export from the AC Infinity app; Bluetooth covers setup and in-range use if you would rather not put it on your network.
