The HLG Slate 2 heatsinks are pre-drilled, black-anodised aluminium heatsinks made by Horticulture Lighting Group for their QB288 and QB304 quantum boards. Available in double and triple lengths, they bolt straight on with the M3 screws supplied — for rebuilding an HLG light, replacing a damaged heatsink, or building a new fixture around existing boards.
Why a proper heatsink matters
LED boards lose efficiency and lifespan as they run hotter. A heatsink sized for the boards keeps them cool at full power, and pre-drilling means the boards sit flat with full contact — no drilling, no misaligned holes.

Do you sell the QB288 boards?
No, the boards are discontinued. These heatsinks are for people who already have boards.
Will other boards fit?
They are drilled for HLG's QB288 and QB304 hole pattern. Other boards will only fit if they share that pattern, or if you drill your own holes.
Do I need thermal paste?
A thin, even layer of thermal compound between board and heatsink improves heat transfer and is worth using on any rebuild.
