Two 1120 mm clone bars in one carton. 25 W each, a 6500 K spectrum and 52.5 µmol/s per bar — gentle, cool light designed to sit close over a tray of cuttings without cooking them. The cooler colour temperature is the point: 6500 K is the spectrum growers reach for at the rooting and early seedling stage.

Low heat is the whole job

Cuttings have no roots. They cannot replace water they lose, so the thing that kills them is heat and light stress, not a shortage of photons. A clone bar is built the opposite way to a flowering fixture — modest output, cool spectrum, low enough heat to sit close above a humidity dome without raising the temperature inside it.

At 25 W per bar these draw next to nothing and stay cool to the touch. Two bars over a standard propagation tray gives you even coverage end to end.

Straightforward to mount, and daisy-chainable

U-shaped clips fix to whatever is above the tray — a shelf, a propagation cabinet, the underside of a bench — and the bar clips into them. No ratchets, no hanging hardware, no tent required. The bars are daisy-chainable, so a run of them along a bench links together and comes off one supply.

25 W or 18 W bars?

Length, mostly. These are 1120 mm and suit a full-length propagation bench or a wide tray. The 18 W bars are 610 mm and fit a shorter shelf or a single standard tray. Both are 6500 K and both come two to a carton.

Why is the efficacy lower than your other lights?

Because it is a different job. 2.1 µmol/J against 3.0 on the Extreme fixtures — but at 25 W a bar, efficacy barely registers on a power bill. What matters at the propagation stage is a cool, even, low-heat spread of light close to the tray, which is what these are engineered for. Save the efficiency argument for the flowering fixture.

Can I use these all the way through veg?

They will keep seedlings healthy, but once plants are established you want more intensity. That is where the Extreme 60 W bar or a proper veg fixture takes over. Clone bars are for the first few weeks.
