The AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp 4″ (100 mm) is a matte-black nitrile rubber coupler that joins two 100 mm duct ports with a flexible sleeve instead of a rigid metal-to-metal contact. Two stainless steel worm-drive clamps sit in moulded grooves and pull the sleeve down tight for an airtight seal. Because the rubber sits between the two components, fan vibration stops there rather than travelling into the filter, the ducting and the frame around it.
The vibration path is the one people miss
A silencer handles the sound travelling down the inside of the duct. Structure-borne noise is different: the motor vibrates, that vibration passes through whatever the fan is bolted or clamped to, and the tent frame, the filter body or the wall behind it turns into a soundboard. Once that happens, no amount of foam inside the duct helps, because the noise is no longer in the air — it is in the metal.
A rubber coupler breaks that path. The nitrile sleeve is flexible enough to absorb the movement rather than pass it on, so the fan is mechanically isolated from everything downstream of it. It is one of the cheapest improvements available in a ventilation setup and usually one of the most noticeable.
Built to stay sealed
The NBR grade 65A rubber is heavy-duty and stays flexible rather than going hard and cracking after a season in a warm room. Ribbed grooves around the sleeve hold the clamps in position so they cannot creep sideways under tension, and the worm-drive heads take either a Phillips or a flat-head screwdriver, so you can tighten them with whatever is in the tent.

FAQ
Does it fit flexible ducting or only solid ports?
It is designed for solid duct ports — fan collars, filter flanges, silencer flanges, dampers and grilles. Flexible ducting goes onto those ports in the normal way with a stainless duct clamp.
How much noise does it take out?
It removes the vibration path rather than muffling airborne sound, so the effect depends on how your fan is mounted. On a fan bolted straight to a filter or clamped to a tent bar, the difference is immediately audible. On a fan already hanging from rope ratchets, it is smaller but still worth doing.
Is it airtight?
Yes. The rubber sleeve overlaps both ports and the two worm-drive clamps compress it evenly around the circumference. On a filtered extraction run, that seal matters as much as the noise: foil-taping the remaining joints finishes the job.
Can I use it to join two lengths of solid duct together?
Yes — any two same-size rigid duct ports. That includes joining a fan to a silencer, a filter to a fan, or a duct stub to a backdraft damper.
Which size do I need?
Match your duct size, not your tent size. A 100 mm fan takes the 4″ clamp. Mixed sizes in one run call for a reducer rather than a larger coupler.
Is this genuine AC Infinity stock with Australian warranty?
Yes. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer and distributor for AC Infinity. Stock is held in Sydney, orders ship domestically, and warranty is handled here rather than through an overseas seller.
