Does it need a pump?
No. It is gravity-fed, so the reservoir simply needs to sit higher than the bases. No power is involved at all.
What reservoir can I use?
Any tank or container you can connect 3/8″ OD tubing to. A bigger reservoir means longer between refills, which is ideal if you are going away.
