The AC Infinity AI Water Sensor is a liquid presence detector for the Controller AI+. It answers one question — is there water here or not — and answers it reliably, which is exactly what you want for a leak alarm on the floor or a level switch in a reservoir. Suction cup and magnet mounts are both in the box, and the IP68 body is rated for continuous immersion to 3 m.
The cheapest insurance in the tent
Put it on the floor under the reservoir, the pump union or the res-to-tent line, and the Controller AI+ pushes an alert to your phone the moment water arrives somewhere it should not be. It can do more than tell you: a pump on a UIS Control Plug can be cut the instant the sensor goes wet, which turns a burst fitting from a flooded room into a puddle.
The same logic applies to anything on a carpet, a floor above a neighbour, or a shed with power in it. It costs very little compared with what a slow overnight leak does.
Or use it as a level switch
Mount it inside a tank at the height you want to act on, and the presence or absence of water at that point becomes a trigger. Below the line, the controller runs a top-up pump or a fill solenoid; back above it, the pump stops. Suction cup for glass and smooth plastic, magnet for steel — both mounts are supplied.

FAQ
What controller does it need?
The Controller AI+. It uses an AI sensor port, which the Controller 69 Pro and Pro+ do not have.
Will it tell me how full my tank is?
Not as a percentage — it reports wet or dry at the exact height you mount it. Mount it at the level you want to act on and that becomes your low-water trigger. If you need graduated depth, this is not the right sensor.
Can it shut a pump off when it detects a leak?
Yes, with the pump on a UIS Control Plug. The controller cuts the plug's power when the sensor goes wet, and pushes you an alert at the same time. That combination is the main reason to buy one.
Can it stay underwater permanently?
Yes — IP68 to 3 m continuous, so sitting in a reservoir is a normal use rather than a stretch.
Where should I put it for leak detection?
Flat on the floor at the lowest point near whatever is most likely to fail — under the reservoir, under a pump union, under the fitting that gets disconnected most often. Water finds the low point, so that is where the sensor should be.
