Matched, not just bundled
The fan, filter and ducting are all 150 mm (6″), so the air path is one clean diameter end to end. The filter is rated to 410 CFM against the fan's 425 CFM free-air maximum — which is how it should be, because the filter and the duct run both add resistance, and the fan is meant to have headroom above the filter rather than being maxed out to get through it. The controller then holds whatever speed the room actually needs, which is usually well below full.
The light is chosen for this footprint rather than for a headline number, and the clip fan is scaled to the floor area. Buying the same list separately is perfectly doable — the kit just means the cross-checking is already done, and it works out cheaper than the parts individually.

About the IonFrame EVO4
Samsung LM301H EVO diodes on an open bar frame, matched to the square footprint so the corners get the same light as the middle. Dims 0–100% through the included controller.
The controller does the work
The Controller 69 Pro comes bundled with the Cloudline fan, so climate control is in the box rather than something you add later. It reads the corded probe inside the tent and drives the extraction fan to hold a target — temperature, humidity or VPD — across ten speed levels with a minimum baseline, so airflow never stops entirely. Timers, cycles and schedules are all built in, and over WiFi you get the app with history charts, alerts and CSV export. It runs all of its programming offline too, which matters if the tent lives in a garage with patchy signal.
It has four independently programmable ports. This kit uses one for the extraction fan, which leaves three free — add more clip fans, a humidifier, a heater or a UIS control plug for anything that is not a UIS device, and they all share the same programming.

Getting the best out of it: hang the filter inside the tent on the intake side of the fan and run the tent slightly negative, so the walls pull in gently — that way all the air leaves through the carbon rather than through the zips. Set a minimum baseline on the controller so the fan never fully stops. Point the clip fan across the space rather than straight at the canopy, and aim it low enough that air moves through the stems as well as over the top. Start the light well below maximum and bring it up — the dimmer is there to be used.
FAQ
Is everything included, or are there extras to buy?
Everything structural is here: tent, light, fan, controller, filter, ducting, clamps, hangers, clip fan, pots, trellis netting, shears and hardware. What you add is growing medium, nutrients and something to water with. No timer or smart plug needed — the controller covers that.
How hard is it to set up?
An afternoon, and no tools beyond what is in the box. The tent poles push together by hand, the light and filter hang from the top bar on the included rope hangers, the fan clamps onto the ducting, and the controller plugs into the fan. The one part worth taking care over is the duct run: keep it as short and straight as you reasonably can, because every bend costs you airflow.
Do I need WiFi to use the controller?
No. The Controller 69 Pro does all of its temperature, humidity and VPD programming on its own with no network at all. WiFi adds the app on top — remote checking, history charts, alerts and data export. Useful, not required.
What is the AI+ upgrade, and should I take it?
For $150 at checkout you get the Controller AI+ instead of the 69 Pro. It is the better buy if you want dual-zone control, the soil, CO₂ or nutrient-solution sensors, or level adjustment that learns your room rather than triggering on a set point. If you want solid VPD and humidity control in one tent, the 69 Pro already does that well and plenty of our customers stay on it happily. The only thing worth knowing is that the upgrade price exists at purchase — buying the AI+ separately later is $269.95 and leaves you with a spare controller.
Can I add more equipment later?
Yes, and the kit is built expecting it. Three of the four controller ports are free, so you can add clip fans, a humidifier, a dehumidifier, a heater or a control plug for non-UIS gear, all sharing one set of programming. Past four devices a Controller AI+ takes over and everything you have already bought carries across.
How loud is it?
The extraction fan is rated at 30 dBA at full speed and the clip fan at 31 dBA. In practice you run well below maximum most of the time, and the EC motors are quiet at low speed in a way that ordinary AC fans are not. Most people are surprised how little they hear it.
Will it fit my room?
The tent is 91 × 91 × 183 cm. Check your ceiling first — the light, its hangers and the filter all hang from the top bar, so you want the full height plus a little to work with. Then leave yourself standing room in front of the door. If the room takes the next size up comfortably, most people are glad they went larger.
