45.7 m (50 yd) of industrial-grade aluminium foil tape with an acrylic adhesive, for sealing the joints in a ducted run. Ordinary cloth duct tape dries out, lets go in heat and humidity, and leaves adhesive behind; foil tape bonds to metal, plastic and irregular surfaces, tolerates −30 to 150°C, and stays put. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer: stocked in Sydney, shipped domestically.

Why it matters on a filtered run
Every unsealed joint between fan, filter, silencer and ducting is a leak, and on an extraction run a leak works against you twice: air escapes before it reaches the filter, so unscrubbed odour gets out, and the fan has to work harder for the same result. Foil-taping the joints is ten minutes of work that recovers airflow you already paid for.
The malleable foil conforms to irregular joints and corners, and the acrylic adhesive bonds to metal, plastic, ceramic and concrete. It also resists UV, chemicals and humidity, which matters in a room that runs warm and wet for months at a time.

FAQ
Can I use normal duct tape instead?
You can, and it will fail. Cloth-backed duct tape is not rated for sustained heat or humidity — the adhesive dries, the backing shrinks, and within a season you have a joint that leaks plus residue to scrape off. Foil tape is what the job actually calls for.
Will it hold on flexible ducting?
Yes — that is the main use. Wrap the joint where the ducting meets the fan, filter or silencer collar, over the top of the clamp, and press the foil down into the corrugations so it seals rather than bridges them.
Is it reflective enough to use on tent seams?
It is metallic silver and reflective, and people do use it for patching small tears in tent material. It is designed as a ducting tape though, so for a large repair a proper tent patch is the better answer.
Is this genuine AC Infinity stock with Australian warranty?
Yes. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer and distributor for AC Infinity. Stock is held in Sydney, orders ship domestically, and warranty is handled here rather than through an overseas seller.
