The Digi-Lumen Extreme 250 W Side Bars put light where a top light cannot reach — down the sides of the canopy and underneath it, where the lower growth normally sits in shade. 750 µmol/s at 3.0 µmol/J from 658 diodes across two 1120 mm bars, with the 250 W driver built into the fixture. At 2.5 kg and 38 mm thick it mounts into a tent or onto a wall without taking up room you need for plants.

Read this before you order. This is one fixture, not two lights. The two bars are permanently joined at both ends by the frame and share a single driver and a single power lead. You cannot split them up and run one bar in one tent and the other somewhere else. It is a common assumption and it leads to the wrong purchase, so we would rather say it plainly here than have you find out at unboxing.
Light where the top light cannot reach
A top light works downwards, and the further into the canopy you go the less of it survives. Lower branches shade out, side growth stays thin, and the bottom of the plant contributes far less than the top. Side bars attack that directly — mounted vertically down the sides of a tent, or laid under the canopy, they put photons into the parts of the plant a top fixture has already given up on.
750 µmol/s is a real amount of supplementary light: enough to make a visible difference to lower development rather than just tinting the space. Full-spectrum white with red across the PAR range, so it complements a main fixture rather than fighting it.
The driver is built in
A 250 W high-frequency driver sits in the fixture itself — no ballast box, no low-voltage lead, one power cord. At 1.13 A it is a light load on a circuit, so you can add a set to a room that is already running a main light and extraction without rethinking the wiring.
Iron frame with an aluminium heat sink, passively cooled, IP45 rated for dust and moisture, and rated to run anywhere from -25°C to 40°C. At 38 mm thick it sits close to a tent wall or pole and stays out of the way.
Mounting: tent or wall
Two options, both sold separately:
Adjustable Tent Mounting Bar — extends from 1150 mm to 1550 mm and spans the width of a tent, which is what Digi-Lumen recommend for tent installs.
Wall Mounting Brackets — 900 mm brackets for fixing to timber or plasterboard, supplied with wall anchors and screws. The right choice in a fixed room rather than a tent.

FAQ
Can I run one bar in one tent and the other in a second tent?
No — and this is the one thing worth being certain about before you order. The two bars are fixed to a single frame, share one driver and run off one power lead. They go up together or not at all. If you want light in two separate spaces you need two sets.
Side lighting or under-canopy — which is better?
Both work, and it depends on how you grow. Vertically down the sides of a tent suits a tall, dense canopy where the outer branches are shading themselves. Laid underneath suits a flat, trained canopy where the lower bud sites get nothing from above. Plenty of growers do one set each way in the same room. Tell us your setup and we will give you a straight answer.
Do I need a mounting bar or brackets?
For a tent, yes — the adjustable mounting bar is what Digi-Lumen recommend and it spans 1150–1550 mm. For a fixed room, the 900 mm wall brackets fix straight to timber or plasterboard and come with the anchors and screws. Both are sold separately and both are on our site.
What does it add to my power bill?
250 W and 1.13 A at full output. On a room already running a main light and extraction, a set of side bars is a small addition to the load and will sit on an existing circuit without trouble.
How does it handle a humid grow room?
Well. It is IP45 rated against dust and splashing water from any direction and runs anywhere from -25°C to 40°C. Under-canopy mounting puts it closer to pots and runoff than a top light, so keep it clear of standing water and direct spray when you are watering.
Is it covered by an Australian warranty?
Yes. Two years, backed by Quick Bloom Lights here in Sydney. If something goes wrong you deal with us, not an offshore seller.
