Most floor fans give you three speeds: too little, about right, and a gale. The CLOUDLIFT S14 gives you ten, so you can set exactly the air movement a space needs — enough to keep air from sitting stagnant in a corner of a grow room without buffeting everything in it, or a steady cross-breeze through a hot garage without paperwork flying off the bench.
Speed is set from the wireless remote (AC Infinity's Controller 63), which works over 2.4 GHz to a range of about 20 m (65 ft). Its backlit LEDs show the current speed level, and it sits magnetically in a slot on the fan when it isn't in your hand. A pairing slider on the remote and each fan's receiver lets one remote run several CLOUDLIFT fans at once — set them to the same number and they move together.
Cutting-Edge EC Motor
Ordinary floor and wall fans use AC motors, which slow down by choking the voltage — that limits the number of usable speeds, and it wastes energy as heat and hum. The S14's electronically commutated (EC) motor is driven by precise digital pulses (PWM) instead, so every speed from the lowest to the highest runs cleanly.
AC Infinity rate the EC motor at around 40% more energy-efficient than an equivalent AC-motor fan, with twice the service life. Maximum draw is 70 W at full speed and less at every setting below it. The motor runs on dual ball bearings with an estimated 67,000-hour life, per AC Infinity's manual.

How loud is it?
AC Infinity publish 70 dBA, measured at full speed — that is a strong, audible fan, as you would expect at 3,619 m³/h. The reason to buy an EC fan with ten speeds is that you rarely need full speed: at the lower settings it is far quieter, and the PWM control avoids the buzzing that AC-motor fans make when slowed down.
Does it oscillate?
No. The S14 tilts 360° on its stand or wall bracket so you can aim it exactly where you want, then it holds that direction. If you need sweeping side-to-side movement in a tent, look at the AC Infinity Cloudray S9 or Cloudray S6 clip fans, which oscillate automatically.
Is it the right size for a grow tent?
The S14 is sized for rooms and large spaces — a grow room, a big tent, a garage. The fan unit is about 52 cm wide on its stand. In a 4x4 tent or smaller, a clip fan on the tent pole will usually suit better and take up no floor space. Many growers run clip fans inside the tent and a CLOUDLIFT in the room around it.
Can one remote run more than one fan?
Yes. Each receiver and remote has a pairing slider. Set several CLOUDLIFT fans to the same number and one remote controls them all together.
Can I wall mount it?
Yes. The wall bracket, anchors and screws are in the box. The stand hangs on the bracket, and the fan head still tilts once it's mounted, so you can angle the airflow down into the space.
Will it survive a humid grow room?
