Where it fits

Most chargers, laptop power bricks, cameras and small electronics are double-insulated two-pin devices — this adapter suits them all. It only changes the plug shape: the device itself must be rated for Australian 230–240 V mains. Most modern chargers and electronics are 100–240 V; check the label.

Earthed devices: a two-pin adapter carries active and neutral only, so a plug with an earth pin loses its earth connection. For earthed equipment, a licensed electrician fitting an Australian lead is the right fix.
