The GreenPlanet Plant Guard is a potassium silicate additive. Silicon is taken up into cell walls, where it can increase their rigidity — useful when plants are dealing with changing conditions, heavy flowers or general stress. A small dose goes in every feed.
Why silicon
Plants deposit silicon in and around their cell walls, and that can make stems and leaves more rigid. That matters most when conditions shift — temperature swings, stronger light, or branches carrying heavy flowers late in bloom.
How to use it
Add 0.5 mL per litre at every feed and stop two weeks before harvest. Silicate products are best added to water first, before other nutrients, so they mix cleanly.

FAQ
Why add it first?
Silicates can react with other nutrients if added to a concentrated mix. Into plain water first, stir, then add everything else.
Will it raise my pH?
Potassium silicate is alkaline, so expect a small rise. Always adjust pH after all nutrients are mixed.
Can I use it in veg and flower?
Yes — every feed through to two weeks before harvest.
Can I mix it with another brand?
We don't recommend it. GreenPlanet's feed programs are built around its own bases and additives, so results are most predictable when you stay within the range.
