The AC Infinity IONBEAM U2 is a two-bar ultraviolet kit that adds UVA to your main grow light. Each 27.9 cm bar carries 12 targeted-spectrum diodes at 365 nm and 395 nm, the pair draws 15 W, and the included controller dims the bars across ten levels and runs them on a daily schedule. Uniform coverage lighting
The IONBEAM U2 is a supplement, not a main light. It adds the UVA part of natural sunlight that most full-spectrum LED fixtures leave out, and AC Infinity design it for the fruit and flower stages, where UVA is used to draw out plant expression and improve the quality of the finished crop.
The bars are built on an aluminium board inside a unibody housing that carries heat away from the diodes, and each bar is IP65 rated against water and dust, so it is at home in a humid tent. They mount magnetically to tent frames and to bar-style fixtures with a magnetic surface, and the included steel bars let you mount them against the tent canvas as well.

Smarter controls
The included controller sets ten intensity levels and runs in OFF, ON and SCHEDULE modes, so UV comes on for the hours you choose each day without a separate timer. Per AC Infinity's IONBEAM manual, it also has a sunrise/sunset mode that ramps brightness gradually over up to six hours.

FAQ
Will the US plug work in Australia?
Yes, with an adapter. The kit is rated 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz, so it runs on Australian mains. Use an earthed (grounded) plug adapter rated for Australian outlets, or have a licensed electrician fit an Australian plug. No adapter is included.
Is this a replacement for my main grow light?
No. It is a UV supplement that runs alongside a full-spectrum main light. It adds the UVA band that most LED fixtures leave out; it does not provide the full spectrum plants need to grow.
When should I run the UV bars?
AC Infinity position the IONBEAM U2 for the fruit and flower stages. Start at a low intensity for a short daily window, use SCHEDULE mode so it runs the same hours each day, and increase gradually while you watch how the plants respond.
How many bars do I need?
Two bars — one IONBEAM U2 kit — cover a 2x2, 2x4 or 3x3 tent. A 4x4 or 5x5 tent takes four bars, which is two kits.
Is UV safe to work around?
These are UVA bars, not UVB, but UV is still hard on eyes. Don't stare at the bars, dim or switch them off while you are working in the tent, and wear UV-rated eye protection — the AC Infinity Grow Room Glasses block UV up to 400 nm.
