The Athena Blended Grow A & B is the two-part liquid base that feeds the Blended Line through the vegetative stage. You get one bottle of A and one of B, used in equal amounts from rooted cutting or seedling through to the switch to flower, with Athena's CaMg added as your water and plants need it. It's where every Blended grow starts.
Built for the vegetative stage
Veg is where the plant builds everything flower will rely on — roots, stems, leaf area. Grow A & B is weighted toward nitrogen for that job, with balanced mineral ratios that support photosynthesis, healthy respiration and strong stalk and root development. It's also suitable for non-flowering plants that stay in vegetative growth.
When the feed chart moves to flower, switch to Athena Blended Bloom A & B as the base. You run one or the other, never both.
Two parts, and why they stay apart
A and B are kept in separate bottles because the calcium in one and the phosphates and sulfates in the other would react and drop out of solution if they met at full strength. Added to water one at a time, they stay fully dissolved. The routine never changes: water first, then Grow A, stir, then Grow B, stir. Always equal amounts, never mixed together straight from the bottle.

FAQ
Do I get both bottles?
Yes. Each order is a set: one Grow A and one Grow B, both in the size you choose. You always need both, in equal amounts.
Do I need CaMg as well?
Grow A & B is a complete base on its own. Athena Blended CaMg is worth adding on RO or soft water and in inert media like coco and rockwool, where calcium and magnesium demand runs high.
Can I mix A and B together in a jug before adding water?
No. Always add each part to water separately and stir between them. Combined at full strength they react and fall out of solution.
Can I use it in DWC or RDWC?
Yes. Blended is the Athena line for deep water culture — Athena publishes an RDWC procedure and addback calculator for it.
Which size should I buy?
The 3.78 L set suits one or two home tents. The 18.9 L set is for multiple tents, larger rooms or anyone dosing through an injector who wants the lowest cost per litre. Tell us your tent size and reservoir volume if you want help working it out.
Can I use it with the Athena Pro Line?
No. Blended and Pro are separate systems. If you run Pro Line Core, use Pro Line Grow in veg instead.
