Smart climate control
The Controller 69 Pro does more than switch the fan on and off. Set temperature, humidity and VPD triggers and the fan responds proportionally — speed rises as conditions drift and eases back as they recover, instead of slamming between off and full. Set a minimum speed and it never fully stops, so you keep constant air exchange through a carbon filter rather than letting odour build between cycles. Timer, cycle and schedule modes cover lights-on/lights-off routines, staged extraction and scheduled purges in a sealed room.
Connect over WiFi to the AC Infinity app for remote control, push notifications, historical climate charts and CSV export. On a room this size that is not a novelty — if the extraction stops at 2am you want to know at 2am, not at breakfast. The controller drives up to four UIS™ devices, so one unit can run this fan plus an intake fan, a Cloudray clip fan, a Cloudforge humidifier or an Ionframe light.
Pressure, not just volume
Free-air CFM is the number everyone compares, and it is the least useful one. The moment you put a 250 mm carbon filter, a silencer and eight metres of flexible duct on a fan, what decides how much air actually moves is static pressure. The T10's 1,059 Pa rating is the highest in the CLOUDLINE range — higher than the 300 mm T12's 818 Pa — so under a restrictive setup a T10 can out-deliver a physically larger fan. If your run is short, straight and lightly filtered, the T12's extra volume wins. If it is long, bendy and filtered, this is the fan.
Efficiency comes from the PWM-controlled EC motor and mixed-flow impeller, rated at 136 W average and 255 W maximum. Those are top-of-range figures; draw falls away steeply as you dial the speed back, because fan power scales with roughly the cube of speed. An AC-motor fan of this capacity pulls close to its full rated wattage the moment it's switched on, whatever speed you've set. AC Infinity rate the dual ball bearings at 67,000 hours, the fan mounts horizontally or vertically, and the motor box detaches from the frame for impeller cleaning without dismantling the ductwork.

UIS™ compatible: The Controller 69 Pro included here runs up to four UIS devices. If you already own a Controller AI+, the T10 plugs straight into that instead — you don't need a different fan model or a second controller.
Installation requirements: This fan must form part of a suitably designed ducted system, installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, the stated IP44 rating, AS/NZS 3000 and applicable electrical and building requirements. Do not expose the fan, controller or power connection to direct water spray. Any fixed wiring or electrical installation work must be carried out by a licensed electrician.
FAQ
Do I actually need a T10, or is a T8 enough?
For most people a T8 is enough, and we'd rather say so than sell you a fan you'll regret. A T8 covers 1.5 × 1.5 m (5×5) spaces, 2.4 × 1.2 m (8×4) and a good deal more. Step up to a T10 when you're ventilating a genuine room rather than a tent, running several spaces on one extraction line, or fighting a long, heavily filtered duct run where the T8 is sitting at level 9 and still not keeping up. If none of those describe your setup, the T8 is quieter, cheaper, and cheaper again on 200 mm ducting and filters.
T10 or T12? The T12 moves more air.
It does — 1,604 CFM against 1,201 — but the T10 has the higher static-pressure rating: 1,059 Pa against the T12's 818 Pa. That inversion matters in practice. Under a heavy carbon filter, a silencer and a long bendy duct run, the T10 holds more of its rated airflow and can deliver more real air than the bigger fan. Choose the T12 for high volume through short, straight, lightly restricted ducting; choose the T10 for restricted runs and heavy filtration.
What does a T10 cost me in ducting and filters?
More than the fan price difference, which is worth knowing before you commit. 250 mm ducting, clamps, a 250 mm carbon filter and a 250 mm silencer are all step-ups in price and bulk over 200 mm, and the range of accessories at that size is narrower. Reducing a T10 down to 200 mm to reuse existing gear defeats the purpose — it raises static pressure, cuts real airflow and makes the fan louder. If the 250 mm gear isn't in the budget, buy the T8.
Is 48 dBA loud?
At maximum, yes — noticeably louder than a T8, and audible through a wall. It is a fan with roughly half again the capacity, so that follows. As with every fan in this range, the figure that matters is the speed you actually run at: a T10 at level 3–4 in a room that suits it is quieter than a T8 pinned at level 10 in the same room. If you need a genuinely silent space, plan for a silencer and insulated ducting from the start and size the fan so it never has to work hard.
How much power does it draw?
136 W average and 255 W maximum. The maximum figure only applies at full speed; draw drops off sharply at the lower levels most installations settle on.
Can the Controller 69 Pro be powered on its own, separately from the fan?
No. The Controller 69 Pro draws its power through the fan, so it can't run as a standalone unit. This matters if you've since upgraded to a Controller AI+ and want to redeploy the 69 Pro elsewhere — the workaround most customers use is to plug a clip fan (a Cloudray, for example) into the spare 69 Pro. That gives the controller a power source and gets you a second independent climate zone plus a backup controller.
Can I use it for home or commercial ventilation rather than growing?
Yes — large subfloors, cellars, workshops and plant rooms are common uses, and the high static-pressure rating suits long ducted runs in existing buildings where you can't always take the short, straight path. It's IP44-rated and mounts horizontally or vertically. Read the installation requirements above; any fixed wiring needs a licensed electrician.
