The Cloudforge T7 is the large-room humidifier in the Cloudforge range — a 15-litre unit producing around 1,300 ml of moisture per hour, more than five times the output of the 4.5-litre T3. That capacity is the point of it. Beyond a certain room size a smaller humidifier simply can't keep up no matter how often you fill it. The T7 pairs that output with the same control set as the rest of the range: an EC ultrasonic vaporiser across 10 PWM levels, a corded sensor probe, and triggers on humidity or VPD. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer: stocked in Sydney, Australian plug fitted, 2-year warranty handled here.

Capacity, not just tank size

It's tempting to read the 15-litre tank as “fewer refills”. Worth being straight about this: at full output the T7 will empty a tank in about 30 hours, while the T3 can run up to 45. The bigger tank exists to feed a much bigger vaporiser, not to stretch the interval.

What that buys you is the ability to actually hold a target in a large space. A humidifier that can't produce moisture faster than a room loses it will run continuously and still fall short — you end up with a unit at 100% output, an empty tank, and humidity below where you wanted it. The T7's output means it can lift a large room and then throttle back to a low level to hold it, which is both more effective and gentler on the unit.

In practice, once it's under closed-loop control and only running when needed, refills are far less frequent than that 30-hour figure suggests.

Two nozzles, two distribution patterns

The T7 ships with interchangeable heads rather than a single fixed outlet. The elbow nozzle pushes high-volume moisture in one direction — useful when you want to feed a specific area, or direct output into the path of a circulation fan. The five-way nozzle distributes evenly in all directions, which suits a unit standing centrally in an open room.

Whichever you use, aim into moving air rather than at the plants. Moisture that disperses through a moving airstream raises ambient humidity; moisture that lands on leaves as droplets is a mould risk.

Built for continuous duty

The body is sealed against leakage and the ports are waterproofed, which matters on a unit holding 15 litres in a room full of electronics. The backlit display can be switched off so it isn't a light source during a dark period. Auto-start with backup memory resumes your settings after a power interruption, and automatic shutoff protects the vaporiser when the reservoir empties.

One practical note: at 46 dBA and 100 W this is a more substantial appliance than the T3. It's designed for rooms rather than cupboards, and it's worth siting accordingly.

UIS™ compatible: The T7 works fully standalone on its onboard controller. Connect it to any UIS controller and it comes under the same programming as your other AC Infinity devices — so the humidifier, extraction fan and heater work toward one target instead of against each other, with app access and data logging.

FAQ

T7 or T3 — which do I need?

Output, not tank size, is the deciding factor. The T3 produces around 240 ml/h and suits smaller tents and cupboards. The T7 produces around 1,300 ml/h and is built for larger tents and full rooms, where a smaller unit would run flat out and still fall short. If your space is big enough that you're asking the question, it's probably the T7 — an oversized humidifier throttled back holds a target far better than an undersized one at maximum.

The T7 has a bigger tank but a shorter maximum runtime — why?

Because the tank feeds a much larger vaporiser. At full output the T7 empties 15 litres in about 30 hours; the T3 takes 45 hours to empty 4.5 litres because it produces roughly a fifth as much moisture. In normal use neither runs at maximum for long, since closed-loop control only produces mist when the space actually needs it.

Which nozzle should I use?

The elbow nozzle when you want high-volume moisture sent in one direction — typically into the path of a circulation fan, or toward one part of a room. The five-way nozzle when the unit sits centrally and you want even distribution all round. Both are included, so it's worth trying each in your space.

Tap water or distilled?

Distilled or RO, and it matters more at this output. Ultrasonic humidifiers atomise whatever is in the water, so minerals in tap water end up as fine white dust on leaves and surfaces — and a unit producing 1,300 ml/h produces correspondingly more of it. Distilled also avoids scale building up inside the vaporiser.

How noisy is it?

46 dBA at full output — audible, and noticeably more than the T3's 38 dBA. It's a room appliance rather than something to sit beside a desk. At lower output levels it's considerably quieter, and under closed-loop control it spends most of its time well below maximum.

Do I need a controller?

No. The onboard controller handles humidity triggers, VPD triggers, timers and cycles on its own, using the corded probe. A UIS controller brings it under shared programming with your other devices, adds app access and logs the data — worth it in a room running multiple devices, which is the kind of space a T7 tends to live in.

Will it fight my extraction fan?

If both run blind, yes — and at this output you'll waste a lot of water doing it. Running both on one UIS controller solves it: the fan eases back while humidity is being added, and the humidifier stops when extraction is running hard. Standalone, set a sensible minimum level and avoid over-extracting.

Is this a genuine AC Infinity unit with Australian warranty?

Yes. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer and distributor for AC Infinity. Every unit ships with a fitted Australian plug and a 2-year warranty handled here in Sydney — no sending units overseas, no dealing with an offshore seller if something goes wrong.

Cloudforge T7

What a great piece of equipment it came packaged well and so easy to setup, I like the fact it has castors on the bottom for easy moving when full and if you have a AI Controller just plug in and just fill the water tank when it gets low so simple.

Good humidifier, just very thirsty

Awesome little unit, just surprised it chews thru a good 12L / Day. That's a lot to keep up with, when you need to feed it distilled or RO water. Tried throttling it down in app but didn't improve useage much. Not really a flaw, just something to keep in mind.

brilliant

awesome quality....easy set up...AC are just really top notch....my only wish and this is purely personal....i would of like to see a clear/see through water reservoir like the T3....the water level on the T7 can be hard to see, but that might just be my set up.....apart from that...this thing is outstanding...love it....
