AC Infinity Flexible Four-Layer Ducting in 8″ (200 mm), 7.6 m (25 ft) long. Four layers instead of the usual one: dual aluminium foil on the inside for heat and flame resistance, dual PVC thermoplastic on the outside to take the knocks that tear thin ducting, and a steel-wire spiral running through it to hold the shape. It bends into awkward corners, compresses down when you need a short run, and cuts to length with tin snips. Two stainless steel duct clamps are in the box.
Why the layer count matters
Cheap single-layer ducting fails in a predictable way: a knock or a tight bend splits the foil, and from then on the run leaks. On an extraction setup a leak costs you twice — air escapes before it reaches the carbon filter, so unscrubbed odour gets out, and the fan works harder to move the same volume.
The four-layer build puts the wear surface on the outside where it belongs. PVC thermoplastic takes the scuffs from tent poles, hooks and the floor; the aluminium foil inside stays intact and handles the heat. The steel-wire spiral keeps the bore round through a bend rather than letting it kink flat.
Getting the most airflow out of it
Flexible ducting is easy to install and the corrugations cost you a little static pressure — so the shorter and straighter the run, the better it performs. Pull the duct taut rather than leaving it concertinaed, keep bends wide, and use the offcut elsewhere rather than coiling the excess behind the fan.
What it connects to
Every 200 mm component in the chain: inline fans, carbon filters, the 8″ duct silencer, dampers and reducers, mounting grilles and the window duct kit. The two included stainless clamps cover one length; joining more calls for another pair.

FAQ
Can I cut it shorter?
Yes, and you should. Cut the steel spiral with tin snips, trim the sleeve, and clamp the cut end onto the port. A short, taut run moves more air than a long one coiled up behind the fan.
Does it come with clamps?
Two stainless steel duct clamps are included, which covers both ends of a single run. If you are joining several sections or fitting a silencer mid-run, add a 2-pack of duct clamps.
Is it light-proof?
Yes. The dual foil and PVC layers are opaque, so no light travels along the duct into or out of the tent.
How do I stop it leaking at the joints?
Clamp it firmly over the port, then wrap the joint with aluminium foil ducting tape, pressing the foil down into the corrugations so it seals rather than bridges them. Ten minutes of taping recovers airflow you have already paid for.
Can I use it for a dryer or bathroom fan?
Yes. It is standard ducting — grow rooms, bathrooms, attics, dryers, AV cupboards and equipment racks all use the same thing. Check your appliance requirements for anything that runs very hot.
Is this genuine AC Infinity stock with Australian warranty?
Yes. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer and distributor for AC Infinity. Stock is held in Sydney, orders ship domestically, and warranty is handled here rather than through an overseas seller.
