Advanced diode technology
The Helios 720 EVO+ runs a high-density array of 3,226 diodes built around the LM301H EVO white diode as the primary photon source — the current-generation horticultural white LED running at the highest efficacy commercially available. The LM301H EVO delivers up to 3.14 µmol/J at the diode level, paired with OSRAM 660nm red diodes hitting 3.8 µmol/J for flowering and fruiting performance.
LM301B white diodes complete the white array, broadening canopy coverage and supporting the even edge-to-edge PPFD distribution that separates the Helios from cheaper LED panels. OSRAM 730nm far-red diodes trigger phytochrome conversion through the Emerson Effect, accelerating flower initiation and increasing final yield potential.
Unparalleled efficiency
With 3,226 diodes spreading the 720W load, each LED runs at just 0.31W — well below maximum capacity. Running diodes at reduced load delivers three measurable performance gains: higher photon efficacy per watt consumed, significantly extended diode lifespan, and more uniform light distribution with minimised hotspots.
The fixture is rated for 50,000+ hours of consistent performance.

Algorithmically optimised PCB layout
The diode layout deliberately clusters more LEDs at the ends of each bar and fewer in the centre. This counter-intuitive design eliminates the hot-centre / weak-edge pattern most LED panels suffer from, producing genuinely uniform PPFD across the entire footprint and improving canopy penetration through dense foliage.
Optimised full spectrum
The Helios 720 EVO+ delivers a complete PAR spectrum engineered for every stage of plant development:
Blue (~450nm, 5000K) — boosts chlorophyll absorption, drives compact vegetative growth with strong stems and healthy leaves
Green-yellow (500–600nm) — improves light penetration through dense canopy, ensuring uniform growth at every plant level
Red (660nm, OSRAM) — drives flowering and fruiting, increases bud density and yield

Oversized aluminium heatsinks for superior heat dissipation
The Helios 720 EVO+ runs ultra-wide aluminium heatsinks the full length of each LED bar - significantly larger than the heatsinks on most LED fixtures at this wattage. The extra surface area lets the fixture dissipate the full 720W passively through natural convection alone.

You’re crazy if you don’t swap core for fade in the last 10-14 days removing all the nitrate!! The plant has no choice but to translocate nitrogen and really help in senescence. Running fade and bloom still at full ec ensures you have a super healthy plant all the way to harvest. Having a plant completely finish without any deficiencies is a beautiful thing.
