Self-watering Fabric pot base 4 pack from AC Infinity

Very impressed with delivery time as i had 2 week old Roma tomato seedlings to pot. Took about 2 days for the self wicking to do its thing. Far out at 5 weeks of growth its blown me away at how healthy they are growing, nothing to do , except ph/ nutrient dosing in the bottom of pots so easy. Every 3 days top up bout 1 litre, it sure delivers water to the plant roots at the rate the plant wants, no more over watering. Will be buying more in the future

These things rock but players still say they don't get enough water. Try this as per pics. Remove extra wicks late in flower when the plant stops drinking so much.

I found if you change the wicks to suit just so manny ways to use if you think there good. Just I found the wicks you can use when u need an leave out if you got away for week or so put the wicks in saves cleaning. Just trying different types of set ups deffeny fun and you can get a big size to if its not big anough good dosent take up to much size there fine for beginner or long time grower

Really takes the guess work out of feeding plans. These work really well and keep the medium correctly watered!

If you're a beginner, or even if you're a veteran, I think you will love these bases.

You see, the problem I used to have with watering was both under AND over watering.

Before I had these bases I would be afraid. I honestly didn't want to over water my plants and have the run off go literally everywhere through my grow tent.

So I used to under water, having learnt early on that I didn't enjoy mopping up nutrient solution off the floor of my tent.

Under watering on the other hand felt like I was too much of a helicopter parent, trying to find a balance of just enough water. Micro managing sucks.

The thing I actually love about these bases is that you can fit a 7 Gallon Geopot on them, another reason I thought I would buy a set. The fact that Autopot fabric pots are only 5 Gallon made me think this would be a great way to bottom feed like an Autopot but in a larger sized fabric pot. Enter the cliche saying "The bigger the roots the bigger the fruits"

Also if I want to go away for a few days, as long as I see there is a decent amount of solution in the base, according to the float valve, I can relax knowing that the plants will absorb whatever they want from the base, without me having to do a thing!

I don't regret getting these bases. I also found a neat little trick to make life easier with them also.

The string that wicks up the nutrient solution can easily move if you are trying to turn your pots on the base.

A great way to eliminate this issue is to simply tie a knot on each side of the string under the base. As long as there is string touching the solution it will wick itself up to the pot. No more annoying strings moving when you turn the pot.

Now I need more tents so I can buy more of these pots!
