The AC Infinity IONFRAME EVO8 is a 730 W bar-style LED built to flower a 5x5 ft (150 x 150 cm) space, or veg 6x6 ft. 2,688 diodes spread across eight bars on a 112 x 113 cm frame — mostly Samsung LM301H EVO in two colour temperatures, with Seoul UV, OSRAM red and OSRAM far-red mixed in. Ships with the Controller 77, so schedules, sunrise and sunset ramping and ten brightness levels work out of the box. Genuine AC Infinity, stocked in Sydney and shipped domestically.

Eight bars, not a panel
The whole point of a bar fixture is that the light starts out spread across the footprint instead of being concentrated in the middle and relying on distance to even out. The EVO8 puts its 2,688 diodes across eight bars on a 112 x 113 cm frame, which is very nearly the full width of a 150 cm tent. You get an even canopy without hanging the light so high that you lose intensity, and you can run it closer in a tent with limited headroom.
That spacing is also what keeps the corners usable. In a 5x5 the difference between a bar fixture and a panel shows up as whether the outside plants keep pace with the middle ones.
What is actually in the spectrum
The bulk of the diodes are Samsung LM301H EVO in two colour temperatures — 1,720 at 3000K and 864 at 5000K — which is what gives the fixture its efficiency and its full-spectrum white base. AC Infinity rate the LM301H EVO at 3.14 µmol/J per diode.
On top of that sit the supplementary diodes that white alone does not cover: 8 x Seoul 395 nm UV, 88 x OSRAM 660 nm deep red and 8 x OSRAM 730 nm far-red. The red weighting is there for flower, the far-red for canopy penetration and photomorphogenic response, and the UV in small measure.
Control, in the box and beyond it
The Controller 77 is included. It gives you a daily schedule, sunrise and sunset ramping rather than a hard on/off, ten brightness levels plus a power switch, and memory that restores your settings after an outage. For most growers that is the whole job, with nothing else to buy.
Beyond that the light is UIS compatible, so it joins the same system as your AC Infinity controllers and runs on one schedule alongside your extraction fan. Up to 80 lights can be daisy-chained — note that the splitter dongles this needs are sold separately, and each controller port carries up to 16 lights of the same series. That is what makes the EVO range work in multi-tent and room builds rather than just a single tent.
EVO8 or EVO10? Same 112 x 113 cm frame, same footprint on the ceiling. The EVO10 puts 3,710 diodes and 1,000 W into it against the EVO8's 2,688 and 730 W — more intensity over the same area, and headroom to push a 6x6. If you are flowering a 5x5 and want the light to sit comfortably rather than flat out, the EVO8 is the sensible buy. If you want maximum intensity or a larger footprint, take the EVO10.

Questions we get asked
Will it actually cover a full 5x5?
Yes, for flower. The frame is 112 x 113 cm inside a 150 cm tent, so the light is spread rather than concentrated, and the corners get a usable share. Veg coverage stretches to 6x6 ft because you can run at lower intensity and hang higher.
Do I need a separate controller?
No. The Controller 77 is in the box and handles schedule, ramping and dimming on its own. A UIS controller is an upgrade, not a requirement — worth it if you want the light on the same program as your fans and sensors.
What do I need to daisy-chain two of these?
A splitter dongle, which is sold separately — it does not come in the box. Each controller port then carries up to 16 lights, and every light on the chain has to be from the same series. Ask us and we will confirm the right dongle for your setup.
How much heat does it put into the room?
Plan your extraction around 730 W of input power. Nearly all of it ends up as heat in the space, so the light — not the tent size — is what should set your fan and filter choice. A 730 W light in a 5x5 wants a 150 mm fan as a minimum, and a 200 mm if the room runs warm.
Can I run it at less than full power?
Yes, and you should for the early weeks. Ten brightness levels plus sunrise and sunset ramping mean one fixture covers seedlings through to late flower. Buying for your biggest stage and dialling back is the right way round.
Is the 3.14 µmol/J figure for the whole fixture?
No, and it is worth being precise. That is AC Infinity's efficacy figure for a single Samsung LM301H EVO diode, not for the assembled light with driver losses included. We quote it as they publish it.
Is this genuine stock with an Australian warranty?
