The AC Infinity IONFRAME EVO6 is a 500 W bar-style LED sized to flower a 4x4 ft (120 x 120 cm) tent, or veg 5x5 ft. 1,680 diodes across six bars on an 82 x 83 cm frame — mostly Samsung LM301H EVO white in two colour temperatures, with Seoul UV, OSRAM deep red and OSRAM far-red mixed in. Ships with the Controller 77, so scheduling, sunrise and sunset ramping and ten brightness levels work straight out of the box. This is the model most 4x4 growers end up on. Genuine AC Infinity, stocked in Sydney and shipped domestically.
Built around the 4x4, which is the size most people run
The 82 x 83 cm frame fills a 120 cm tent properly, so the light arrives spread across the canopy rather than concentrated in the middle. That is the practical difference between a bar fixture and a panel: the corner plants keep pace with the centre, and you can hang lower without burning the middle.
It also means you can run a 4x4 without the ceiling height a panel needs to even itself out. In a tent where you are fighting for headroom, that matters more than peak numbers.
What is actually in the spectrum
The white base is Samsung LM301H EVO — 1,074 diodes at 3000K and 540 at 5000K — which AC Infinity rate at 3.14 µmol/J per diode. On top sit the supplementary diodes: 6 x Seoul 395 nm UV, 54 x OSRAM 660 nm deep red and 6 x OSRAM 730 nm far-red. Deep red carries the flowering response, far-red assists penetration through the canopy, and the UV sits in small measure.
Control, in the box and beyond it
The Controller 77 is included: daily schedule, sunrise and sunset ramping rather than hard on/off, ten brightness levels plus a power switch, and memory that restores settings after an outage. Nothing else to buy.
The light is also UIS compatible, so it joins the same system as your AC Infinity controllers and runs on one program alongside the extraction fan. Up to 80 lights can be daisy-chained — the splitter dongles this needs are sold separately, and each controller port carries up to 16 lights of the same series.
EVO6 or EVO8? Decide on your tent, not on wattage. The EVO6's 82 x 83 cm frame is built for a 120 cm tent; the EVO8 is 112 x 113 cm and built for a 150 cm tent. Putting an EVO8 in a 4x4 wastes light on the walls; putting an EVO6 in a 5x5 leaves the corners short. Match the frame to the footprint first.

Questions we get asked
Is 500 W enough for a 4x4?
Yes. A 4x4 is about 1.5 m² of canopy, and 500 W over that sits comfortably in the range people flower in. If you are running CO₂ and want to push harder, that is the argument for stepping up — not the tent size.
Do I need a separate controller?
No. The Controller 77 is in the box and handles schedule, ramping and dimming. A UIS controller is an upgrade if you want the light on the same program as your fans and sensors.
What do I need to daisy-chain two of these?
A splitter dongle, sold separately — it is not in the box. Each controller port then carries up to 16 lights, all from the same series. Ask us and we will confirm the right dongle for your setup.
How much extraction does it need?
Size the fan to 500 W of input power, not to the tent. Nearly all of it ends up as heat in the space. A 150 mm inline fan with a carbon filter is the standard pairing for a 4x4 running this light.
Can I use it from seedling through to harvest?
Yes. Ten brightness levels plus sunrise and sunset ramping mean one fixture covers the whole cycle. Run it low early and bring it up — that is the point of buying a dimmable light sized to your biggest stage.
Is the 3.14 µmol/J figure for the whole fixture?
No. That is AC Infinity's efficacy figure for a single Samsung LM301H EVO diode, not the assembled light with driver losses included. We quote it as they publish it.
Is this genuine stock with an Australian warranty?
Yes. Quick Bloom Lights is the official Australian importer for AC Infinity. Stock is held in Sydney and warranty is handled here.
