The Digi-Lumen Extreme 720 W is a six-bar bi-fold fixture sized for a 1.5 × 1.5 m canopy — 2160 µmol/s at 3.0 µmol/J from 1974 diodes, with the 720 W driver built into the fixture so there is no ballast box to mount and no DC lead running across the room. It is our best-selling Digi-Lumen light, and it is easy to see why: it is the sweet spot between output, running cost and the size of room most people actually have.

Six bars, even photons corner to corner
Six bars spread across a 1120 × 1060 mm frame, each diode throwing a 120° beam so the cones overlap before they reach the canopy. Digi-Lumen measure 1221 µmol/m²/s at 30 cm across a 5 × 5 grid, and the point of the bar layout is that the reading holds up as you move out towards the edges — the plants in the corners get treated like the ones in the middle, which is what makes a run predictable.
The spectrum is full-spectrum white with red supplementation across the PAR range: one fixture, one spectrum, seedlings through to flower, nothing to swap over halfway.
The driver is built in
A 720 W high-frequency driver sits inside the fixture's spine. Nothing to mount on the tent pole, no low-voltage lead to route, one power cord per light. It is a cleaner install with fewer connections to work loose, and at 6.95 kg it is light enough to hang and adjust on your own.
The frame is die-cast pressed aluminium and folds in half for storage and transport — handy if the tent comes down between runs, or if the light has to go up a set of stairs. IP45 rated for dust and moisture, passively cooled, and rated to run anywhere from -25°C to 40°C.
3.0 µmol/J, and what that buys you
Efficacy is the honest way to compare grow lights: photons out per watt in. At 3.0 µmol/J more of the 720 W on your meter ends up as light on the canopy and less of it as heat in the room — the same efficacy figure as the 1000 W Extreme, in a fixture that costs less to run. It shows up twice on the bill: once in what the light draws for the photons it delivers, and again in the extraction that no longer has to work as hard to hold temperature.
Dim it by hand, or hand it to your controller
A manual dimmer on the spine steps through 180 W, 360 W, 550 W and 720 W. Wind it back for seedlings and early veg, step it up as the canopy fills, run it out through flower — one light, whole cycle, no extra hardware needed.
Alongside it is an RJ12 control port, and that is where it slots into a controlled room.
Runs on your AC Infinity controller. The whole Digi-Lumen range works with AC Infinity's UIS system through the
UIS Lighting Adapter Type-A. Plug the adapter into the fixture's RJ12 port and into a Controller 69, 69 Pro, 69 Pro+ or AI+, and your photoperiod and dimming run off the same controller as your inline fan, humidifier and heater — one schedule, one app, one place to change it. No separate lighting timer, no second system to learn.

FAQ
Why is this the one most people end up buying?
Because 1.5 × 1.5 m is the size of room most growers actually have, and 720 W is enough light to fill it properly without needing a sealed, CO2-enriched setup to justify it. You get the same 3.0 µmol/J efficacy as the 1000 W Extreme, a lighter fixture to hang, and a lower number on the power bill. It is the practical choice rather than the maximum one, which is exactly why it outsells everything else in the range for us — and why it is the one we keep in stock.
What do I need to run it off an AC Infinity controller?
Two things: a UIS Lighting Adapter Type-A (AC-ADL7) and a UIS controller — Controller 69, 69 Pro, 69 Pro+ or AI+. The adapter plugs into the RJ12 port on the light and into a UIS port on the controller, and from there the light behaves like any other UIS device: same schedule, same app, same place you set your fan and humidifier. Do I need CO2 to get the most out of it?
No — and that is part of the appeal. At 2.25 m² the 720 W is well matched to what plants can use in ordinary room air, so you are not buying output you cannot feed. If you do run CO2, enriching the room lets plants convert more light into growth and the fixture will reward it, but this is not a light that needs a sealed room to make sense. If a CO2 setup is where you are heading and the space is bigger, look at the 1000 W Extreme instead.
Will it cover a 1.2 × 1.2 m tent?
Comfortably, and with room to spare — run it on the 550 W step and you have a well-lit 4×4 with headroom left for when you move up to a bigger space. If your tent is 1.2 × 1.2 m and likely to stay that way, the Extreme 400 W is the more economical fit and we are happy to point you there.
What about the 780 W Dual Spectrum?
Same footprint, same frame, same efficacy, with UV and far-red channels added and a little more output. It is a genuine upgrade if you want that spectrum control. For most 5×5 rooms the 720 W does the job at a lower price, which is why it stays our first recommendation — but if the UV and far-red is what you are after, the 780 W is there.
Do I need a separate ballast or driver box?
No. The driver is inside the fixture. One 240 V power cord, hang it, and you are running.
What does the 3.0 A draw mean for my circuit?
At full output it pulls 3 A on a 240 V supply, so a single fixture plus a fan and a humidifier sits comfortably on a standard 10 A outlet. Two of these on one circuit with the rest of the gear is still reasonable, but have a licensed electrician confirm the load before install day if you are running a full room.
How does it handle a humid grow room?
Well. It is IP45 rated against dust and splashing water from any direction and runs anywhere from -25°C to 40°C, so a working tent at high humidity is exactly the environment it was built for. It is not designed for submersion or direct hosing, so keep the wash-down away from it.
Is it covered by an Australian warranty?
